What are battery operated bathroom mirrors?

How long do batteries last in a battery bathroom mirror?

This varies depending on how often you use the mirror. With typical daily use, a set of AA batteries lasts a long time. LED technology draws very little power, which helps significantly. Lithium-ion models don't need battery replacement at all; a full USB-C charge lasts for months depending on usage.

Can I use rechargeable AA batteries?

Yes. Standard rechargeable AA batteries (NiMH type) work fine in our AA battery mirrors. They may give slightly different run times to standard alkaline batteries, but the lights function normally.

Getting the size right is mostly about proportion. The mirror shouldn't be wider than the basin unit or furniture below it, and it should leave enough breathing room between the worktop and any overhead cabinetry.

The 400mm x 600mm and 500mm x 700mm options are the most versatile, sitting comfortably above a standard single basin. How do I install a battery operated bathroom mirror?

Installation is straightforward. You'll need a pencil, a spirit level, a drill, wall plugs and screws (included in the box) and a screwdriver. Mark the fixing points on the wall using the supplied template, check they're level, drill and plug the holes, then attach the mirror. Insert the batteries into the back compartment (or connect the USB-C cable if you have a lithium-ion model), flick the rocker switch, and the lights come on.
