Giving your bathroom a facelift, without a new suite in sight!

How often do you move your sofa, TV or bed around? A quick poll in the Pebble Grey office would suggest it's an average of two or three times a year! They say a change is as good as a rest after all!

Due to boring technicalities like plumbing (yawn!) it's a bit more difficult to have a change in you bathroom; in fact it's neigh on impossible! And as the average bath suite lasts for 15 years, it's not economical to refit it every few years. Yet one of the best ways to add value to your home is to give your bathroom some TLC. And even if you don't plan to sell up any time soon, creating a peaceful retreat to escape to is a smart idea.

There are lots of things you can do to give your bathroom a facelift without the need for major surgery though!

Tap Fittings

Taps can make a big difference to the look of your suite, think of them like a necklace to a dress, they can transform it instantly! It's usually fairly easy to change your taps over and the variety of options out there is (almost) endless. Whether you want a modern waterfall mixer tap or ornate Victorian-style pillar taps, they can revamp your tub in a flash.

It's not easy to relax in a cluttered bathroom, but as a room that is used much less than others it's not an uncommon problem. Adding a cabinet to your bathroom is not only a simple solution to hiding away the clutter, but it can also become a feature in itself.

The Delano LED Infinity Mirrored Cabinet will add a touch of glamour to your bathroom and provide a subtle light for relaxing baths.

A mirror may seem like a simple, practical addition to a bathroom wall, but it can make a huge difference to the feel of your space. A large modern mirror, situated across from a window or other light source, can make your bathroom feel much bigger and lighter. The right mirror can also change the way you use your bathroom. An illuminated mirror makes shaving, applying make-up and other intricate tasks much easier. Modern mirrors can now be installed with a range of added extras too, such as shaver sockets and demister pads too, giving your bathroom a luxurious, hotel-feel.

Refreshing your accessories and changing the colour of them is often enough to update your bathroom. If it's time to buy some new towels, change form your usual colour and find some accessories to match. They can be decorative, or practical, such as a soap dish, dispenser and toothbrush holder set.
